Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“It was not clear what tent was ours (didn’t say anywhere in Airbnb) and there’s a code needed to access which was not in the reservation details either so we had to call tentr support team who were very helpful and provided the code for us .
Once we got to the tent that we thought it was ours , it was all messy and definitely not ready to check-in (it was 11pm). We ended up staying in another tent but we were never sure which one was ours .
The whole situation was not really a big deal for me cause I had a good time anyways but I know it might be for others, so just make sure you know your tent letter and the passcode before getting there .
Make sure you take your own linens and pillows as well (gets kinda chilly at night) and that’s it :)”
“there was never anyone to show me where my tent was, I wasted a lot of time looking for the tent the entrance was closed and the person who was going to show me where we had to stay did not answer and when he answered he told me that he was not there in the park, it was very dirty”
“Location was great with a beautiful view and direct access to the lake. The campkeeper’s communication was terrible. Had to reach out to Tentrr support 3 times to be able to get information on the tent location and access. Several others also had the same issue. The camp site was filthy, trash scattered all over. The trash can and bear container was completely full with previous campers trash. Would not stay here again and recommend Tentrr put this site on notice.”
“Me and my boyfriend wanted to camp privately and fish a little. Since it’s on a public “beach” it was filled with other people during the day, at night cars were driving through and a little suspicious, at 5:30-6 am we awoke to a man screaming to his dog for about 20 minutes straight. We made the best of it of course and still had a nice time, lake is beautiful and nice to swim in. But no fish unless you have a kayak maybe, and there are bears. People leave there trash so we had to clean up in case of the bears.”
“There are many wonderful Tentrr sites in Harriman State Park but this is not one of them. This is located in an area where many people are coming and going all the time. Many swimmers and picnickers, even if they aren't supposed to be there. We recommend staying in Harriman State Park Tentrr sites but not this site. Check out Silvermine instead.”
“Our first tentrr trip and we had a great time, nice spacious tent and really comfortable bed. Located on a beautiful lake beach. Unaware of how many people frequented the lake during the day but nighttime was peaceful and private. Tent held up good in the rain, if you’re good fishing I wouldn’t recommend this site. Would come here again”
