Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Beautiful site that had everything we needed (queen bunk bed, gas grill with tools, fire pit with logs and kindling, water for drinking and washing, even a S'Mores kit!). We loved walking around the property and seeing frogs and tad poles, humming birds and hawks. Joel and his wife were so responsive and helpful. Wonderful stay!”
“We had an amazing three days at Joel and Debb’s hidden paradise. The site is totally secluded. The perfect spot to unplug. This lovely place truly is luxury camping with all the amenities provided from a gas grill, sanitizing wipes, coffee percolator , and the list goes on. There’s lots to explore around the farm. One of my favorite spot was a platform against a tree that I used for my morning reading and it felt amazing up there with the morning breeze. Also, the pond with the paddle boat as well as the scavenger hunt were a big hit with my kids. You really have to experience this place to truly understand the beauty of it. I will definitely recommend this place. We’re already planning our next visit.
P.S. make sure before you leave to stop by Mrs. Debb’s little gift shop. She has the most amazing and unique Christmas stuff.”
“Joel & Deb pulled out all the stops with their charming & relaxing Tentrr site. Between their thoughtful set-up and incredible hospitality, the experience was akin to an outdoor bed & breakfast. The site is secluded and located at the base of one their Christmas Tree fields. It is outfitted with an outdoor shower, souped-up outhouse, and a perfect hang-out/kitchen/picnic table area with tons of solar light options. Joel & Deb had a s'mores kit and two of the most perfect marshmallow sticks I've ever scene ready to go upon arrival (as well as lots of water). They were kind enough to share some of their garden spoils and the corn was delicious! At the top of the hill, there are two chairs to enjoy the sunset. In the morning, you might catch some turkeys passing through. Despite it being August, the temperature was perfect (cool in the evenings, warm during the day). My husband enjoyed fishing bass in the ponds around the property. I think it's safe to say, Joel & Deb thought of all the little luxuries or needs one might ask for for an incredible stay. (Don't pass up the opportunity to shoot skeet with Joel - he's an awesome coach and a crazy good shot!) Would absolutely love to return and 100% recommend!”

“This was an incredible experience! Joel has improved the amenities beyond the standard tenterr offerings by building an actual outhouse, and a roof for over the picnic table. The scenery is magnificent, and they have a great spot at the top of the hill to watch the sun set.
I also highly recommend trying out the skeet shooting. Joel's wife kindly sat with our dog so my partner and I could shoot together. Thank you!
There are a bunch of local trails for hiking for all levels of hiker. Do note that the finger lakes trail is incredibly long, so it is more of an out and then turn around trip unless you want to hike to buffalo. :D
I highly encourage you to give High Meadow Tree Farm a visit! The place and the people are wonderful.”
“High Meadow Tree Farm was our first Tentrr experience and it was idyllic beyond belief, relaxing and the hosts are supportive of your needs and positive experience. We are already thinking about our next trip. The additional benefits of the tented outdoor solar shower, the covered pavilion, the private outhouse, the paddleboat in the pond, and the add-on offerings from the hosts make this site PERFECT.”
“My girlfriend and I spent two nights at High Meadow Tree Farm with our dog. We loved it.
It was late July, the hottest part of the year so far. Yet were cool and comfortable at the site. At night we even needed a blanket.
Joel keeps an immaculate site. There was no sign whatsoever of the previous guest.
The site’s amenities include a gas grill (a model we liked so much that we bought the same one for our house back in Brooklyn), a firepit with dry logs and kindling replenished daily, an outdoor shower with tent enclosure, a picnic table whose overhead cover extends far enough that you can eat in the rain and a clean, airy tent with queen sized air mattresses on a bunk bed.
The tent platform sits at the base of a hill. On the slope of the hill are planted 1-2 foot pines--future Christmas trees on Joel’s 95-acre farm. The rows of baby trees are what greet you when you step out of the tent in the morning. It’s pretty. The hill rises directly to the east of the tent, a location that buys you extra sleep in the morning by delaying the sun’s rays from entering the tent. Atop the hill are a pair of Adirondack chairs suitable for stargazing or watching the sun set or drinking wine (Joel supplies glasses) or listening to the wind.
The site is completely isolated, with no line of sight to any any roads or homes. Nearby on Joel’s property is a clear pond that’s good for swimming or paddle boating.
For a small fee, Joel will provide a dinner of fresh grilled vegetables and chicken spiedies. Spiedies? We’d never heard of them, either. They’re a flavorful kind of chicken kebab, and they’re a speciality of the Binghampton area. You should order them.
Lastly, Joel himself is warm, friendly and knowledgeable about the area. He was ultra-prompt at responding to any request or question.
We will go back to Joel’s farm.”
