“Under "normal" circumstances, the site would have been beautiful. Unfortunately for us, when we arrived Friday evening, management told us that a wedding and reception is scheduled for Saturday night on the property.... so our experience of a quiet, "disconnected" weekend wasn't achieved. We were asked not to be around at a given time, and then typical reception of loud music, amplified DJ voice, and general party sounds late into the night. Management should have told us this before booking.
The shower and heater didn't work, so functionally the site was not as expected.”

“This tent is in a beautiful space. We were there mostly to sleep, but it was lovely to wake up facing the sunrise. Very private and quiet outdoor space. We would definitely stay again. Bring extra blankets if it’s going to be a chilly night.”

The positives:
GREAT hostess, Phoung checked in with me before our trip.and twice during.
Location! Steps away from thw brewery and minutes away from other breweries, lots of vineyards and downtown Watkins Glen.
Great View of Seneca Lake. Staff at Beerocracy could not have been nicer.
It is right on a main road so not secluded camping and you do hear traffic. (Important to note, you are tucked away and don't see the road) But that is the trade off for the great location.
It is a perfect spot for visiting the Finger Lakes!”
“No lake access from camp. Tent is Way too hot in the dead of summer. Absolutely Nothing to do on-site, you must drive 30 min in any direction to enjoy a swim or cast a fishing line. There is no relief from the heat besides the shower which we had to fill up the 3 gallon tank.
The site is in the corner of a mowed field, about 100 yards from the very modest brewery Which sits on route 14 north. You can hear the highway from your bed.
The canvas tent and bed inside is nice: if you’re a camper in the spring or fall, you might enjoy yourself here. However if you come half prepared, in July, expecting to enjoy a dock on a lake, you will be quite disappointed.
The WORST part is I paid for firewood but was informed they don’t provide fire wood. why charge me for it Or provide it as an option on the website? Also this was extremely inconvenient as there was a fire wood shortage from the holiday so basically the town was out of dry wood by the time we arrived on the 5th of July. we managed to find a cord from a local farm around 7 pm which was useless as it was too wet. My Bf spent 3 hours trying to start a fire. you guys owe me $6 lol but more so we couldn’t enjoy a fire at all.
This was so brutal We left after one night. i paid $380 total for a Wednesday and Thursday night. The rain gurenteee was a cool feature, you bet i paid for rain…they should also have a heat guarantee as there was a heat warning.
The manager Pho was the best part & this review is in no way a reflection of her.
TLDR: no lake access, no firewood provided, way too hot in the summer.”

“The tent space was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Appreciated the firewood for the fire pit. Bathroom facilities were as described, but could have used a larger reservoir of water for the shower. Needed to shower quickly before it ran out, and you need to refill between showers. The water source (hose) was a bit far away to carry the container. Overall we had a pleasant stay.”
“Site had all necessary amenities, was easy to access and owners were very friendly and helpful. Bed was comfortable but definitely firm.
Altho it is camping and outside, we thought some areas could have been cleaner. We had a few mice, several spiders in the shower and restroom that made it unsettling, ad well as had mice in the tent at night although we brought in no food. There is mouse droppings in the tent and it had a musty smell.”

“I can't say enough good things about this place. The location was beyond my expectations. The 'off the grid' feeling was rather refreshing to be honest. The bed was clean and comfy. It does get very cold at night so bring some thicker pj's but regardless the tent is equipped with a propane heater that heats the place up very quickly. It's located near plenty of nature activities and has a Walmart close by incase of any emergency. Just like the previous people said, it feels like your away from everything without actually being away from everything. Will definitely be coming back.”
