“This place was so beautiful, the views stunning. So peaceful and relaxing. The goats and chickens were so fun. The hosts brought us fresh eggs for breakfast and checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed all weekend.
The area is spectacular for wine tasting, kayaking, fishing, and local entertainment. We loved the local diner and bars.
This is a unique and special experience staying at the Quail Run Vineyard and Farm :)”
“We glamped at this location after going wine tasting in Carlton, OR. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind after going to the wineries, and it was very near (10 mins) away from our last wine tasting. The location had a comfortable bed with warm sheets, and had all the amenities, and more! While we didn't bring food, there is a stove to cook, water, and a table to have meals at. However, we decided to head down to the local tavern to pick up some burgers since we got hungry post-wineries (only 5 min drive).
The view is amazing to wake up to, and even though in the day it was around 80F that day, it wasn't too hot in the tent. It was just perfect!
We brought our dogs and had them on leashes, and they enjoyed looking at the goats on the property. We were able to feed the goats peanuts, which the owner left on the table for us. The goats were really friendly!
If you're interested in going to the wineries, I would recommend the Carlton Winemaker's Studio and Cava Feast.”
“This was such a peaceful place to stay! The host, Linda, was so kind and recommended local places for us to go.
It was so fun seeing all of the chickens roam around and feeding the goats in the evening. The views are breathtaking!
We were able to bring both of our dogs with us as long as they remained on their leashes, and took them for a sunset walk.
This site was very prepared and we can’t wait to stay here again.”
“I loved Quail Run Vineyard and Farm! The campsite is on a hill with a cool breeze and a lovely view. The goats live in the pasture below the tent site, and I spent hours relaxing with the goats.
The campsite is easy to find, quiet, and full of singing birds. It is close to several vineyards, and to two nature parks. Gaston has a grocery store, gas station, restaurant, and a tavern.
Linda is a friendly and attentive host. She showed me the farm, brought me firewood, an extra blanket, and mushy bananas to share with the goats. Linda responded to my e-mail promptly and was available by text during my visit.
A few things to know:
1. There is a short walk from the parking spot to the tent site.
2. This is a new listing and Linda is working on the kitchen supplies. Ask her what to bring.
3. Site is co-hosted by Tentrr and Airbnb. Contact Linda in advance to confirm reservation.
This is, by far, my favorite Airbnb place to stay. I am definitely coming back in the future!”
