Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“The campsite was lovely and the tent and bedding were comfortable. Restrooms were primitive and difficult to access. The biggest drawback, however, is the steep price at $125 a night with no 35% senior discount that the SC state park system allows.”
“This was one of the worst camping experiences we've probably ever had. First, it's no where near the state park it's self in regards to restrooms and showers. Second, the tent is sitting in the boiling sun. There was no air flow and between mosquitos and the red ant infestation it was a nightmare. Truly do yourself a favor and do not stay here. The state park has much better rustic sites for much cheaper. Yes, you have to bring your own tent, and it's very worth it. This sits on the marsh, the campsites also have no privacy. We've been camping at the state park for years and this experience with Tentrr does not reflect the actual state park.”
“This is not a glamping experience. The tent itself was nice, but no electricity, hike in with a million mosquitos descending and that abomination of a bathroom does not make for a "glamping" experience. You should rename it.”
Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Edisto Beach is a new venture for us, so feedback from our first guests is invaluable. We have been working with the South Carolina Parks department, and have updated the advertising terms in order to better manage our guest's expectations. We agree - while Tentrr is definitely "camping made easy," "glamping" leaves much room for interpretation. We are excited to continue to improve these sites and appreciate you taking the time to leave a review.
Cheers!
