“This was truly amazing in all ways. Sarah and Brian have a beautiful location and the view was amazing as well as their hospitality and attention to details. I would highly recommend people of all ages and interest coming to their location.”
“The site was amazing and the hosts also were very attentive. Minor issues were resolved promptly and we felt very free to move around the property and enjoy it. Hosts were accomodating with our pet and our particular needs. Only minor suggestion would be to hang some string lights around the tent for illumination. The site was very dark and only a couple lanterns made it rather difficult to get around at night. We would definetly go back and enjoy this beautiful place.”
“Very grateful to Sarah and Brain, they are very good hosts, the place is beautiful, it is very peaceful and has a beautiful view, you also find everything you need to camp! I will surely come back here again!”
“Really awesome space! Sarah and Brian were great to work with and they were very welcoming! You have everything you could ever need! If you’re new to camping, this is a great place to get started because you don’t need to bring any gear at all and the bathroom is private! The view is spectacular and the area is so quiet! We slept 12 hours the first night because it was just so peaceful! Highly recommend this spot!”
“This Tentrr site is nestled against the woods on a beautiful piece of property also lived on by the hosts. However, the site is located in a position that you wouldn’t even know someone else lived near by…except for the visits from their family dogs (Duke and Dolly) who are very sweet. The view is spectacular and the amenities provided (cooking supplies, wood, fire pit, lanterns, etc.) were very useful. You park at the entrance of the property next to a barn and the hosts (Brian & Sarah) met us to give us an orientation to the area, the natural spring water tap they allow you to use and lastly the gator you will be provided to load your things into and drive up to the camp site. They provided guest wifi that we were able to get a connection to from the camp site as well, since there is no cell service in the area this came in handy.
Our first morning we took a short drive to carvers gap and hiked up to round bald and the gardens on Roan Mountain. Both hikes were leisurely, however they didn’t disappoint when it came to the views!
If you are looking for a quiet getaway, with a beautiful view and some nice hiking trails this is a great spot.”
“We were very happy with our weekend stay. Sarah and Brian have done a wonderful job with this site and will welcome you like family. They’ve prepared just about everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The site is situated on their beautiful property and offers a good bit of privacy. Sarah and Brian went out of there way to make us feel comfortable, yet respected our privacy. I’d highly recommend rental of the gator for trips back-and-forth from your vehicle to the site. Site is convenient to beautiful drives, great hiking, and Johnston City. Wonderful experience, highly recommend for a several day/weekend getaway.”
“My wife and I went to Greener Acres yesterday. What a beautiful place this is. It’s Nestled on top of a hill, and overlooks a beautiful lake. But the best part, is that view. Wow. Brian and Sarah have worked hard to make this into a special camping experience for you. While here, you can visit the Roan Mountain State Park, go see the exquisite rhododendrons that grow naturally here or if you’re on the Appalachian Trail, hop off for a relaxing night, or two, before getting back on your way. For whatever your reasons may be, this Tentrr site is worth your time.”
