“Only a little over half an hour from Albany, but worlds away...beautiful spot up perched on a hill to watch the sunset. Private, clean, close to Long Trail for hiking,Babbling Brook restaurant/SIlky's ice cream and Wayward Lane Brewery! Close to it all, yet so far away. Hosts were very responsive to any questions. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to be back soon for another quick getaway! A wonderful place to completely unwind. ( you will have to transport your items up a hill via their wagon. It is not more than a 4 minute walk and well worth the trek! It is also a sunny spot, so make sure to utilize the sun shelter stored under the bed!)”

“Cottonhill is a dream! The site is very private with a breathtaking view. Subtle sounds of wildlife and smells of thyme! We could’ve stayed up there forever. We did venture down to swim in the pond and hike the creek where we found so many fossils! The hosts (Heidi and John) were so welcoming. We will be coming back again and again. Thank you!!!”
“This is my favorite view! The swimming pond is lovely and the options for nearby activities (and hiking on property) can not be beat. The owners are friendly and responsive. Can not say enough about the vibe on cotton hill, whether it's reading on the grass under a tree, roasting smores on the pond side firepit, or sitting at the top of the hill taking in the incredibly majesty- this site is phenomenal!”
