Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“I had my trip booked for over a month and 5 days before my trip I get an email that it was canceled by Tentrr and when I finally got in touch with someone they told me was because Tentrr is no longer accepting reservations. I seen online they filed for bankruptcy in January of this year. So I guess they are going out of business completely. But I had to scramble 5 days before my trip to find a new one.”
“We were expecting to be provided with 5 gallons of water for cooking/showering. There was none and the water at the nearby campground was not potable (it was visibly brown because it came from the lake). The empty water jug provided was dirty. So we soon ran out of drinking water. There were only three toilet bags provided (for a two night stay), so we had to walk to the campground every time we had to pee. There was only one functional firepit, for the 2 sites (A and B). There was a hornets nest between the roll-flap and tent of one unit, right by the door. We never saw or heard from our host Jessica except for automatically generated emails.
The location itself was fantastic, very scenic, quiet, private and well kept up.”
“This campsite was fun and amazing! I will be going there again! Only complaint is it would have been nice to have a light inside of the tient. And a sandbox to put up the other tent.”
“Our stay at Tentrr was fabulous!! It was also our wedding day!! Shire means country, and We’ve always wanted to get married out in nature! This was the perfect place for our wedding!! We rented both Tentrr A and B and had the whole lot to ourselves! The lake was beautiful and the trees surrounded us with peace! We enjoyed every moment of this trip, from waking up to the simmering water to closing our eyes under the magnificent blanket of stars!! They provided us with a propane heater with the propane tank if it should get cold! The only thing we needed to do was open the canvas windows and let the breeze blow through! We fished and kayaked and of course got married!! It was a dream come true! We will be going back soon to soak up some more of this relaxing atmosphere!!”
