“We really enjoyed our stay! It’s always great to have somewhere to stay that is pet friendly. There were intense thunder and rain storms the second night and because the path was dirt, it was a bit muddy packing up but that’s to be expected at a more rustic location. Despite the heavy rain and winds, I still felt safe and secure in the tent.”
“Beautiful location, clean tent, just the right amount of amenities for "roughing it". Tents were a little hard to find but we stopped at the bait shop and found our way. The ranger(?) who texted us once our tent was assigned was super responsive and helpful.”
“Could give 0 stars if I had to. The campsite was setup in an area close to the river that was flooded previously, and it is actually tucked away close to the woods with lots of bugs. The Tent had a lot of bugs inside and they were so many that we refused to stay in the tent and had to scramble to search for a tent site inside the park, luckily we found one, or else we would have had to return home with a disappointed family. Only positive was the CampKeeper who was very kind and lent us a tent to spend the night.”
