“We chose the hottest weekend but still managed to enjoy our stay. Jenn had a small fire burning on arrival to get rid of bugs and that helped a lot. The spot is lovely. Jenn had sent a list of places to go and we chose the lake as it was so hot. Good choice.”
“We had such a wonderful time at this fantastic site! Jennie was incredibly nice. The site is in a lovely spot by a creek. The property is lovely and located close to Catoctin Mountain Park and Cunningham Falls.”
“Campkeeper was responsive and willing to accommodate a last minute request. Our lab was able to run free since there were no other campers nearby. Had to transport our gear with the aid of a wheel barrow. Would have been nice to have a table of sorts for food/cooking. Nice isolated area with a toilet and shed for privacy and for securing food/trash overnight. Would love to go back.”
“Described perfectly - it’s a hammock site in rustic, private knoll of trees at the back of the property. The fire was ready to light, there were two camp chairs waiting, and a pleasant, quiet space. Loved it!!”
“The site itself is nicely situated allowing the setup of 3-4 tents safely located around the fire pit. Plenty of firewood on the ground. The site provided a 5-gallon can of water, a Loo, a shower bag, hammock and two camping chairs. We used the site as a center location for some fun hikes within an easy drive and a tour of Gettysburg. The proprietor, Jenni, is great. We'll come back again.”
“We had a great time. Jenn was a very kind and helpful host. The campsites are well separated and private. Lots of stars at night. The area is beautiful. The appalachian trail is nearby, with lots of nice hikes.”
