“The location is beautiful! This place has so much potential. There is no toilet at the tent. You have to walk a distance to a very dirty port a potty. This is especially unpleasant if it rains or if the wedding venue has guests. There was mold on the mattress cover and mud on the bedding. There was broken glass all over the grass near the tent. There were a lot of dead bugs around the corners of the tent. I’m not going to list everything but with just a little bit of time and effort this place could be amazing. It seems to have been set up and forgotten about.”
“The location was great and the host was very nice.We checked in pretty late and he didn’t seem to have an issue with it. I think we were the first people to use this site so it wasn’t set up completely, which wasn’t a big deal. Just had to walk a bit further to use bathroom. Overall it was a peaceful getaway for my hubs and I.”
“This was an excellent weekend getaway with a very nice set-up. Our stay was perfect although I would caution to make sure there are no weddings happening BEFORE renting. We booked only a weeks ahead of time so this was mostly our fault but it wouldn't hurt to check for those interested. (the wedding venue is about 100 yards away)
All in all, it was a beautiful little campsite next to the water with easy access to the road and just a short drive from Wilmington and Middletown.”
