“Despite the heat (100 degrees), the site was located up on a hill and covered by trees that provided shade. The tent was roomy and comfortable. The zip open/close windows (and front flap) provided a nice breeze at night. The table and cupboard were spacious and could hold much of what we brought with us. Of particular note was the host, Paloma. She went out of her way to be helpful, including having one of her guys help us carry our stuff from the car to the site. Though I am not particularly fond of outhouses, this one was exceptional - open to sky and with a normal toilet seat.”
“The tent is nestled among the trees overlooking a beautiful working vineyard, however, access is via a steep dirt road and we were afraid our van would not navigate the road. Paloma, the camp keeper, was very gracious and we all agreed it would be better if we slept in our campervan in the level parking lot. Delicious red wine and a relaxing stay but not in the tent! Paloma thought the description of the access road was in the website description but I did not see it.”
“Great location with a nice view of the vineyard and countryside. It is easy to get to from the freeway. You should definitely stop in at the winery for a wine tasting. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We will be coming back again for sure.”
