“If you want to experience the night sky, this is the place to go. We stayed two nights as we were visiting the Painted Desert and Petrified Forest National Park, which made it the perfect location. Xavier was incredibly responsive and the place was almost exactly as described. We traveled from the East Coast, so while normally, updates to the place would be incredibly welcome, we were surprised to find an outhouse, a grill, a heater, and sheets on the bed as we had packed everything we needed thinking we wouldn't have those things.”
“The night sky was stunning! I booked this site to see the stars, and boy did I! It was peaceful and although there was another tent and a clubhouse on the property, it felt very private! The tent was roomy, sturdy, very clean and well appointed. We were surprised by the addition of an outhouse type bathroom with a shower that were just added and we did not expect. Also the host left a 5 gallon jug of water for us that we also did not expect. Nice extras! Now, Xavier, the host, was very responsive and gave excellent directions , however, when there was a misunderstanding about our reservation while we were there, he sent an poorly thought out accusatory text to me that was very unappreciated. After I responded, his tone did change and the problem was resolved to his satisfaction. Another caution is the condition of the road. I would only recommend taking a truck, SUV or 4 wheel drive with good ground clearance. In rainy weather this road could easily be impassable.”
“The campsite was great. Tent comfortable. The host was attentive. Having an issue with the host getting payment from Tentrr nearly cost us our reservation. Tentrr needs to fix that issue as this was a really a great experience to stay in the desert for the night.”
“It was an amazing feeling and view. Zavier made sure to meet us to make sure we found it easily. He made sure we had what we needed and if we didn’t he helped to make sure we knew where we could obtain certain items. Thank you Zavier for such an amazing experience.”
