The tent is nice, open, and kept us and our stuff totally dry when it rained hard. There is a firepit with a rotating grill top and a nice workstation set up. The thing that really bothered us is that we specifically asked about privacy before renting, were told that the tents were spaced out for privacy, then had a pretty lame camping trip when it was quite the opposite. All tents are right in the same space. One had like 10 people staying there and we could hear every word spoken. Their camp light was bright and shining right at us while we tried to relax by the fire and enjoy the stars, plus you have to go right through our camp to access the lake and they definitely did before and after dark. Plus it's right on the lake but has no swimming signs posted everywhere. To be honest it was the worst site we have ever camped in purley due to location and proximity. If you aren't concerned with privacy than it is a nice set up.

The tent was great! The bed was pretty comfy and the area was nice! The fire pit was nice for grilling. The state park itself was not too impressive- there was not a swimming beach or any hiking trails. If you don't have a boat or jet ski, there isn't a ton to do. There was a pretty nice swimming pool and mini golf course but that was pretty much the extent of it. It was nice just to sit in nature and enjoy looking at the lake, but it was a bummer there wasn't anywhere to swim in it. The bath houses were passable but definitely not state-of-the-art. We liked staying here for one night, but past that we would have been reaching to find things to do.
