Place was great, walking trails were well marked but slightly grown in as to be expected for a trail with limited traffic in the middle of the summer, actual site was very nice, only complaint would have been lack of sunlight during the day, the site was 95% shaded all day long, i personally think it would benefit from some thinning of the trees, This would also help dry up the land a bit. Other than that it was a great weekend away.

I had a relaxing 4th of July weekend with my SO and our dog at the Hilltop Nook! Our camp keeper (on behalf of Alan) was David. So kind, informative, and helpful! He had everything well prepared and ready for us on our arrival, with more than enough firewood and water for our two nights. The site had useful little extras, like citronella candles, prepared kindling, extra flashlights, and even a bucket of charcoal to help manage the Tentrr Loo. If you have an AWD car/truck, you can pretty much drive up to the campsite. Otherwise expect to walk a few hundred yards to not risk getting your car stuck in a muddy patch. The weather wasn't entirely cooperative since we got hit by thunderstorms. But what a way to camp in the rain! The tree cover and slight elevation of the site meant the site itself was well sheltered and not muddy. They had a separate covered area for the Tentrr Loo setup, which meant we didn't have to fuss with keeping that dry. We had a chance to check out the local farmer's market and the Old Creamery Co-op nearby - make sure to grab some ice cream! Otherwise, we rode out the storms inside the tent, calming our dog, playing games, and relaxing to the sound of the rain. This was our first experience with Tentrr, and Alan and David made things pretty effortless for us! Thank you!

Great site! Conveniently located but faraway enough from the road that it is quiet and secluded. When the camp keeper saw that we were a party of five, he offered to set up the dome tent on the extra platform which was very helpful. Easy and timely communication from start to finish. Will definitely stay here again!

Friendly, great communication. The trail was well marked and a perfect morning hike. It had rained a lot but was still very walkable and we saw some amazing fungi, lichens, and fall wildflowers. We appreciated the firewood provided as well.

We had a wonderful weekend at Hilltop Nook at the start of fall. The Tentrr setup was great and included seating, grilling options and a semi-private bathroom. It was hidden in the forest with private trails and streams worth checking out. The camp keeper, Alan, was extremely hospitable and helpful. Extra wood and water was supplied, which was very generous. He guided us up the dirt and wooded pathway with our own vehicle to make sure we were safe and comfortable with the location. The wood stove inside the tent was awesome, especially during cooler nights. Great place to visit!!

We loved this tentrr location. It was a perfect setup amidst of trees and forest and half mile hike from Mill brook river. Alan was waiting for us when we arrived and helped us take our stuff to the campsite in his trailer and a wagon. The campsite was a short walk from the road. There was enough water and firewood in the camp for us. He had arranged pots for heating the water. The entire campsite is very well setup up with a picnic table and benches outside so it’s great for grilling too. The setup was perfect with a big extra tent for more people. We were a group of 3 so didn’t use all of the space provided but I bet a larger group would definitely have a great time. There is an old creamery and grocery store just 5 min drive from the campsite where you can get everything you would ever need food, sandwiches, ice cream, raw vegetables, groceries, camp utility stuff etc. so even if you don’t carry anything with you just stopover at this old creamery and you are all set. The next day we went to Zoar outdoor for a rafting trip. It is just 30 min drive from the campsite. Overall it was a perfect weekend and we loved the place and would love to visit again with a larger group. Thank you Tentrr and Alan!
