This was an amazing experience. If you want to get away from it all and be in the middle of nowhere this is the place for you. Our host could not have been more accommodating and I definitely plan to return when I need an escape from my life.

This site is excellent. The maintenance of the sites and the surrounding area is beyond superhuman. It is definitely on our go-to list.

This was a fantastic trip to get away from the city and enjoy nature. Garth was very accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. We enjoyed the area and got to check out a few attractions such as the drive-in theater. You can tell Garth puts a lot of work into the property to keep the trails kept up with as it is open to the public as well. We found some cool geocaches along the property and if you are really adventurous you can even walk to some places such as the ice cream shop. We can’t wait to return next year.

If I could give 15 stars I would. Beautiful land tucked away with tons of space and privacy. Garth was such a wonderful host and made sure we had everything we needed! Would definitely recommend coming here if you’re looking to enjoy a peaceful night under the stars.

It was a very pleasant time of camping!!! We stayed there for 5 days and enjoyed the nature of The Pine Hill Top. The camp site was located in the forest where we could take several different trails. The 5 Gal jug provided was very useful, and bathroom was near by. There were picnic areas, and my 7 year boy played a soccer there. Of course, the camp keeper, Garth, was the best part of all I should mention. He tried to offer everything that was available during the time. He is generous and outgoing and loves kids. We loved the weather as well even though it was rainy for couple days, but it did not bother at all because Garth took care of it. On top of that, we had fun with rain. As we leave and say good bye to The Pine Hill Top, we promised that we would come back.

It's apparent that Garth works hard to maintain his property. The series of walking trails throughout are pleasant to explore, and well-marked. There are also several geocache sites scattered along the trails! The campsite was clean and spacious, and the pit toilet well-maintained (stocked with sanitizer and wet wipes). The fire pit had two grills, and Garth provided plenty of seasoned wood. Garth also provided a full, 5-gallon water jug. The picnic table has a bug tent set up around it, which would be handy if bugs were out in force. However, we did not have any issues with insects so we found the bug tent to be cumbersome, but we realize that is just personal preference. If I had not forgotten the camp chairs, it would have been less of an issue for us...O.O Would definitely camp here again!!

The campsite is quiet and relatively secluded, and has some decent hiking nearby. Great for a long weekend away from the city. The only downside was the lack of accessible water at the site, but I guess it is considered backcountry. But other than that I would happily return.
