The campsite was pure perfection! The access to the river was amazing and so relaxing. We slept great on the mattress and we couldn’t have asked for anything more. I hope we get the chance to stay again.

Amazing site! We absolutely loved Ahsahka and Monica was a wonderful and gracious host. This is a great spot for anyone, but particularly for a family with small kids (we have a 5 and 8 year old). The rock formations on the river and the swimming hole and big rock were so beautiful and the site is right on the river. There's a great meadow as well for playing games, and the trail to another beach spot to explore the rocks and river and water is cleared with wood chips. Monica gave us a great recommendation to drive to the top of ascutney and do the short summit hike, which was perfect for our small hikers, and just 5 - 10 minute drive away. Monica put beautiful small details into the care of the site, such as fresh flowers, decorations, and lots of candles and lanterns to use. It was our first time using Tentrr and we would definitely come to Ahsahka again. Highly recommend! Thank you Monica.

This was our first Tentrr experience and definitely won't be our last. We exchanged messages with the host, Monica, about the site and any suggested items to bring and what we should expect. Communication was amazing! The family spent a couple of days enjoying the different swimming holes right off of the campsite and we even tried our hands at fishing. There was an ample amount of wood for cooking on the campfire and smores at night. The campsite had an amazing view of the stars at night. My wife and I cannot recall seeing so many stars. The campsite had plenty of room for the kids to run around and play. There was plenty of privacy at the site and we plan on visiting again soon.

We loved our stay at Ahsahka. Monica thought of everything, like bedside tables each with their own lantern. Her campsite is lovely, with 2 sets of chairs set along the river in two different, very picturesque spots, and another set on the deck. The site was private, yet close enough to Monica's house in case we needed anything. The camping loo was a definite perk as was the sun shower. The tent kept us warm as the temperature dropped, but we never needed the wood stove. We cannot wait to return in the summer so we can take a dip in the river, as it was too cold for us this time, but our dogs didn't seem to mind! There is a great local supermarket called Singletons right up the road, so you don't even need to pack food. They have absolutely everything you could want, including wine and a great selection of cheeses and meats, plus produce, snacks and regular groceries. They even have clothes and shoes, in case you forgot something, or need an extra layer. We would definitely recommend Ahsahka and Monica for your next Tentrr adventure.

My husband and I took a last minute trip to Vermont, and found ourselves in Cavendish with no place to stay. We saw this listing, and to our surprise it was still available - did I mention it was already 4 p.m. ? We requested to book, and eventually were linked up with our lovely host, Monica. My expectation for Tentrr was that you get a private spot for your tent, some chairs and a fire pit but not much else. Monica had beautiful little decorations in the tent as well as the bed fully made, and extra bedding for us. The place was stocked for anything that you might need while camping. This stay really was a highlight of our trip, and I would recommend staying here to anyone considering it.

My husband and I just got back from the most relaxing weekend of our lives at this beautiful spot in Cavendish, VT. Monica, our host, was amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and took the time to show us around the large private property. There is a river that runs around three sides of the campsite with multiple little beaches. We spent our days exploring the nooks and crannies of the river and jumping off of a big rock into a natural pool. At night the beautiful tent kept us warm and cozy. When the temp dropped a little low we used the wood stove to warm up. I can't say enough good things about this place and our host, Monica. It's a beautiful place you have to see to believe! We will 100% be returning again soon.
