“You are closer to town than you think, but it doesn't feel like it when you are at the campsite! Don't miss sunset for anything, and set your alarm for sunrise! We had more than enough wood to keep our fire going all night. They provided plenty of matches but I would recommend bringing a lighter and some kindling or newspaper to make the fire building go quicker. The bathroom is a sawdust composting toilet, as opposed to the bag in the description. The sawdust was actually easier and cleaner in my opinion, and the bathroom did not smell at all. Make sure that your car will be okay to get up the dirt roads and the grassy hill to the campground. Lots of rocks and potholes, and one VERY tight bridge. My only regret was not staying longer!”

This was so far from home for us but we will arrange another trip here even if it’s out of our way. I’ve stayed in Airbnb for 10 years and this was hands down the best stay I’ve ever had.”
“This place is so beautiful! The views are lovely, it’s peaceful and quiet and the tent set up had everything we needed. The bed was comfortable, the location perfect- isolated enough but close enough to get dinner in town or go site see on a day. Highly recommend! We had zero issues with the dirt road getting there.”
