Wonderful private place! We loved every minute of it. The wife and I were able to catch a lot of fish in the pond and our dog had a blast running around the open fields. I will be coming back to this campsite very soon. Thank you to Frank and his wife for making us feel very welcomed and comfortable. For those of you going here: - To get to the tent you will have to go past the house entrance and take a left at the first junction (to the right will be a small pond and chalet with a sign that says parking). Once you have turned left you will start to climb up and you should pass a red barn on your right, keep driving up this gravel road until you see an out-house, then you keep driving a couple of dozen feet and the tent will be downhill to the right (Almost immediately after the out-house). - There can be some friendly insects around so use caution. - The sunrise cannot be missed - The dog kennel is very nice and is worth it if you want to take a drive into town without your dog.

The pictures don't do this campsite enough justice. The views were incredible. This is such a beautiful area to visit. The two fishing ponds on site were stocked w/ Largemouth bass, trout & catfish, my kids reeled in 5-10 a day. Was about a 10-15 minute drive into Coopertown. Great for dogs. Highly recommended. We'll be back next year.

My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time at this site! The grounds were absolutely stunning! We spent hours exploring and enjoying the views. The hosts were so sweet and welcoming and made sure everything was setup for our arrival. The location was perfect- about a 10 minute drive to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. We will 100% be returning next year!

Mountainview Preserve is actually more beautiful in person than in the photos. We arrived after dark and woke up to the most beautiful 200+ acres of pristine land with groomed trails. Our two dogs loved running free on the property. Frank could not have been nicer, greeting us upon arrival, having a fire already set up and a separate tent with kennels for our dogs. Cooperstown is just a short drive and, honestly, had the friendliest people we have encountered in a long while. Be sure and visit their Farmers Market on Saturdays. We also recommend the Origins Cafe for delicious vegetarian food. This property made for an amazing and peaceful weekend. Five Stars!

A blissful weekend in the countryside spent at a campsite nested up on the top of a hill with views down through the valley. The campsite was quiet and peaceful. We took our two dogs with us and they were able to spend the entire weekend romping around in the long grass. The property is picturesque both at day and night with the stars being second to none. The camp keeper was welcoming and friendly. Arriving at the campsite it was clean and the grass freshly mowed. The sunset at the nearby state park was amazing. A great trip all round.
