“This is our new favorite spot for a weekend getaway to camp at! We usually love primitive camping sites, but we woke 9-5 jobs and were looking for a change of scenery to get away with our two shepherds.Carol, the camp host, was so attentive and welcoming! She was so sweet and went above and beyond to ensure we had the best time. She had no problem with us bringing our dogs with us, and let them have run of the place- something so hard to find with any sites in the state we’ve found. She made sure the site had everything we could need for our stay- dish soap, fire starters, and the land even has a nice trail you can hike through! We saw turkeys, deer, and loved waking up to the songbirds on the land. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a hassle free, private, off the grid stay. We’re already planning our trip back!”
