“This is a beautiful location and Ally and Mike are great hosts. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The view from the tent platform is better than the photos: you can see all the major mountains between Mt Hood and Mt Bachelor and they light up at sunrise for a great show with coffee. Its also a very central location with short drives to a lot of major outdoor destinations in the region.”
“We adored this place! It was Extremely beautiful and was just as expected according to the description. To top it all off, our host was kind and helpful!”
“Great place and amazing views. Make sure you reach there before sunset. Great place for people who are new to camping and want to get their feet wet.”
“The location and tent were beautiful! The road to the location had multiple forks with no sign-age so we scraped our car on some of the un-driveable parts. Wish they would have specified this. Would love to come back if the amenities were improved. They were not as described. There was no solar shower and no composting toilet. There was only a toilet where you go in a bag and have to take it with you.”
Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've gotten in touch with the host at this particular site and addressed some of your concerns. She is aware of them and moving forward with future bookings, will be more mindful of the items you mentioned.
Again, we apologize for the situation that occurred, but hope to see you out camping with us again soon!
Cheers!

“I loved the campsite and the views, which were truly spectacular. The solitude, peace and quiet, and stargazing were also fantastic. The only issue I had was rodents in and around the tent. Despite keeping food out of the tent, mice were running around, including up the walls of f the tent, when I was trying to sleep…which was very unnerving. There were mouse droppings as well, and a rat that ran across the tent platform one night when I was sitting outside.”
