“What a great spot for a TentRR. This was my first time booking one, and it did not disappoint. First the location of the family farm is up the mountain and once you arrive, the path takes you around a beautiful meadow and pond around a stone wall where you have total privacy in the forest. But wait, to get there you get to drive over the historic Fitch's Covered Bridge. The hosts provide everything you need in the tent and the stocked cabinet in case you forgot some essentials.
The whole place is pretty perfect, and then the location is a few minutes on the same road in/out to Bramley Mountain Trail with a beautiful forest path to gorgeous overlooks and views of the rolling hills of my beloved Catskills.
This was the same weekend I found the parcel of land that I will now be the owner of. Heaven. Lucky spot? Yes, I'm going to say yes. Do yourself a favor and come for a visit!”
“We (2 adults and a 4 year old) thoroughly enjoyed the stay at this site. Large area for campground, parking, camp kitchen etc in the shade of the trees. Short walk down the hill to the lake/pond in which there were plenty of frogs, froglets and newts.
Close to Dehli and Hobart as well as some farm shops and a horse sanctury. Very very close to the 4 mile walk up Bramley Mountain (recommended though sizeable elevation gain made it a bit hard for the 4 year old).”
“We had a great time here! The site was beautiful and private, we thoroughly enjoyed walking down towards the pond during the day to check out the frogs and salamanders, and at night to stargaze. So much to do in the surrounding area (hiking, swimming, exploring Andes and Delhi), but we enjoyed hanging out at the campsite and walking around the property just as much. James' setup was very well equipped which made our stay that much more enjoyable, and he was a great host. We'd return in a heartbeat!”
