“We had a WONDERFUL stay at Maggie's Meadow! Our hosts were amazing! They were warm and friendly and were there to provide assistance whenever we needed. We were given extra water and firewood. Maggie's brownies are PHENOMENAL!! We ate them in one day! The landscape is something out of a picture book. We even had a baby deer wander up to our campsite. It was magical. We highly recommend Maggie's Meadow. We will definitely be back!”

“We booked this site based on the good reviews from other campers, but were disappointed with the site. This site was not up to the level of other Tentrr sites we have camped at. When we arrived, we were driven up by Jeffrey (the campkeeper, who was friendly and polite) because he did not want our car up at the site. (Our Subaru AWD easily made the climb to the hill, when we had to pack up the car to leave.) The campsite did not appear to have been taken care of in quite some time. There were branches and leaves covering the bed inside the tent; a wasp nest inside one of the Tentrr benches was alarming as we struggled with wasps every day; the sun shower was not partially full - and of debris-filled dirty water; the toilet was full of cobwebs and clearly had not been attended to in, likely, months. In addition, there were a number of missing amenities -- including the standard Tentrr campfire grill and the grill tongs & brush as promised by Tentrr in their always included list. Jeffrey and his wife were responsive and friendly, but it was very clear that they were not prepared for our arrival (the site wasn't ready as described above, and the 5L water container was missing and the trash can hadn't been lined). We got distinct feeling that the campkeeper had not considered our arrival thoughtfully in advance (aside from providing brownies). We would not recommend this site as there are superior sites for the same price in Callicoon and nearby areas.”

He even brought us to the farmer’s market in town and offered great suggestions for places to eat/things to do. We can’t forget to mention the delicious brownies that Maggie baked for us.
