“We had a great stay at Summer Haven. The site is nestled in trees and near a stream. So the scenery is nice and you can hear the sound of the stream from your porch. We had evey thing we needed to enjoy our camping stay. Will was a fantastic host. He communicated with us soon after our booking and answered all the questions that we had. He responded quickly when we emailed him and was available if we had any needs. He provided great insight into places to visit in the area for taking our dogs to play in water. Overall, we had a very relaxing stay and plan to visit again. Tent RR makes it easy for busy people to get time in the woods with a little less work.”
“If you are looking for a simple getaway this is it. Hubby and I were in need of a disconnect and two nights here were perfect.
Slight incline down to site but the view on the deck in the Spring/Summer season is everything. There was available wood on site, also a well maintained portable toilet on location in addition to the loo mentioned in the description.
Asheville is just 15-20 minutes away so a drive into town for food or to explore a little is very easy. We made dinner both nights on site but had brunch in town twice.
Brought our dog who was a but alarmed at the peacock sounds the first night but calmed and got used to all the sounds of nature around.
Site is off a dirt road but pretty populated around so we felt remote but still safe and the drive in was just beautiful.
There is almost no cell phone signal so be prepared to be off grid and enjoy!”
“great place very to relaxing, they didn't have the solar shower as stated and it rained the whole time we were there so cooking was impossible it would have been Nice if they had the cooking area covered in some way.. no phone service which we didn't mind to much. it's VERY VERY dark at night impossible to see to the tent without lighting so need a flash light.. but it was very comfortable tent is an amazing idea”
