We came in October, to visit Colby College, which is nearby. Compared to staying in a hotel in Augusta, this was an adventure and convenient. Nanci was very responsive by email and text. Tentrr had somehow made a mistake in its email about our arrival date and Nanci reassured me that she had the correct dates. Nanci had provided a camp stove and jugs of drinking water, which we didn’t need, but that could be a convenience for others. Nanci also provided a couple of small blankets and pillows, a crate full of games like Bananagram, candles, bug spray, magazines and small hanging lanterns. We would have preferred it more bare and sparse, but that is a matter of personal preference. The site is far from the main road and we enjoyed having to walk in from where we parked our car. (The dirt road to the parking area is fine but could be tough in places if your car has low clearance.) The site does not have a view, but it did feel like a nice wilderness escape.

This was a fantastic place to relax in a really cool area! The campsite is well off the beaten path! It’s tucked in the back of the property. You drive most of the way to it, then walk the last .2 miles to the tent. Almost everything you need to have an amazing trip is waiting for you at the site. Pack your sleeping bag, some pillows and your cooler and get ready to kick your feet up! The hosts have left lots of thoughtful extras at the site, like cards, a small propane stove, water and cooking pans for the fire. The area is also amazing, with tons of cool food trucks and breweries to visit. We brought our two chocolate labs and they had a blast running around in the woods. We found lots of places where the dogs could join us for dinner, too, like Bigelow Brewery! We highly recommend this trip. It was a great, relaxing weekend!

Nanci was an extremely accommodating host. For our weekend trip to Maine, we arrived late at night and Nanci stayed up to escort us to the campsite. The campsite was so cozy. Try a sun shower! First time using TENTRR, two thumbs up!
