Our stay here was my first time camping as a surburanite in my late 20's and I loved it. It was my service dog's first time camping too. My wife was raised as a country girl and was stoked for the birthday gift/trip. The location didn't let us down. Holland is gorgeous and the campsite is private so you can unplug and enjoy being as quiet (or loud) as you prefer. As camping virgins, my service dog were comfortable with the accommodations. There is a driveway close to the site, between 10 and 15 yards away, which the neighbor drove a few times a day. They kept to themselves and didn't interrupt our stay at all, the location still feels adequately private but not completely remote. It was an ideal setting for our first camping experience. The only reason I left 4 stars for accuracy is that I had the impression there would be an outdoor shower. Bathing often is important for me, as I am an amputee and keeping the skin under my prosthetic clean is essential to avoid irritation/infections. The lack of bathing accommodations could be made more clear in the listing. This did NOT necessarily dampen our stay as we had a joyful experience playing in the surf and bathing in the lake at the astonishingly beautiful public beach just west down Riley Street. The accessibility/parking at the lakefront was a huge pro for to discover, which is not exactly mentioned in the listing. There are fine restaurant options nearby, but we enjoyed staying in the woods and it was lovely to cook all of our meals over the fire pit during our stay with the provided grill-bob. We ate our meals sitting at the fire contently, enjoying delicious steak and veggies both nights, and bacon and eggs both mornings. We brought our own cast iron skillet for meal prep which was pretty essential for the food we packed to cook. We left the skillet at the campsite as it was too hot after brunch during checkout time, so maybe you can make decent use of it too if it hasn't been discarded since our checkout! Wifey, doggo, and I became more relaxed in the space than we have been in a long while. The tent and bed themselves were clean, comfortable and raised off of the damp forest ground. Doggo enthusiastically explored the perimeter of the wooded area, and was content smelling all the nature smells. She was blissed while staying in the woods and sprawling out anywhere on the beaten paths. Our weekend adventure was special and memorable in many positive ways. My only regret is not bringing a larger cooler for alcohol and groceries. There's an orange spigot cooler filled with drinking water at the site. Dollar General has pillows and pillow cases in case you forget and there is a solid supermarket (Family Fare) a short drive away. Cheers!

i accidentally booked a tent when I meant to book something else. I called a tentrr rep to let them know same day (July 2nd) and the person I spoke with told me it would be taken care of with full refund since I called early enough. A few days later a rep reached out to me with the rules for my stay and I told her I had canceled. She told me she was not made aware and is still having trouble reaching other tentrr reps. I am still in the process of trying to get my money back. by the way, there is no chance I would agree to pay that much to sleep in a tent in Holland, MI
