“Beautiful piece of property and great spot for a camp site. Was ideal to have a multiple nice hikes right from the site without needing to drive or park anywhere. The site itself also has a pretty nice view. There are two campsites on the property, but it still felt private and we couldn't see or hear the other site from ours. This was ideal for coming from the city as the drive was short and it had most of the essential camping items. Host was very kind and easy to work with.”
“Appalachian Trail Hilltop Hideaway is a great place to relax with a gorgeous view, and also is so clean. Dominic, a camp keeper, is easy to communicate with via texting. He answered every question for me about his campsite features and activities in this area. The canvas tent is totally closed from floor to top, and no problem sleeping even on the floor with your sleeping mat. It was a great option to try Coleman's camping gears, and I liked the original lithium-ion battery-operated system for a speaker, lantern, etc. We will definitely be back there to hike because 2-nights were too short to enjoy all trails around! highly recommended.”
“Hilltop Hideaway was a great site with a gorgeous view. All the Coleman equipment was a great perk. The tent itself was dry as a bone during a torrential storm and super cozy thanks to the propane heater. Awesome access to hiking on the Appalachian Trail and a great little farm/orchard. Would def stay again!”
“This is our 5th TENTRR site so we are able to make comparisons. Hilltop Hideaway was the best set up site we’ve seen. It was clean, easy to access, private, well laid out. The tent sits on gravel so there’s very little mud. The mattress is real, (no air mattress to deflate), there is a rug to keep out the cold and bugs, the propane heater is small and efficient. Dominic is an awesome host, great communication. The site was all set up for us and using the Coleman equipment was a real perk. The site is private but close to town so not isolated. So much to do! Hike the AT from this site, visit the wineries, pick apples, zip lining etc. We will be back in the spring. I forgot to mention … it’s only 1.5 hours from NYC.”
