“This was exactly what I needed. The site was clean and everything was there to relax and enjoy some quiet time. Drove the jeep right to the site and it was exactly what I needed to get away.”
“This was a perfect escape in Metro Atlanta. Just down the hill awaits the platform tent in the middle of the trees, where you can bask in silence and the smell of fresh cut wood. With a cool gentle breeze, it's easy to "rest your eyes" or nap any time of day in the hammock. If you stay in the summer, by nightfall, you'll be lulled to sleep by the sound of cicadas.
Don't worry about the bugs: the natural bug spray provided by the host works wonders. The soft lighting was a welcome sight compared to the usual harsh LED flashlights I would use while camping. The outdoor shower is refreshing in the morning, and even better with the home-made castile soap provided. The outdoor toilet is also very easy to use with no mess involved.
Overall, I highly recommend this retreat in the woods to renew and rejuvenate your soul. I hope to be back soon to with some marshmallows to sit by the fire and unwind!”
