Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Although we loved the site itself, getting to it was a bit of a headache. We received different codes (gate, canoe, and tent) with the booking information. The gate code was incorrect, but we were given the correct one at the ranger station. The canoe code was also incorrect. We could not get the canoe unlocked and were left with all our supplies waiting in the rain. I emailed the Tentrr host, and received responses from two people with 3 possible codes (none of which ended up being correct). We went back to the ranger station - they didn’t have the code but thankfully had the phone number of the person who maintains the tents. He gave us another code, and 4th time was a charm. If we hadn’t been able to get in touch with him I’m not sure what we would have done. I’m not sure if the tent code was correct as there was no lock on the tent itself.”
Hey there, thanks for your feedback here. Without honest reviews like yours, we wouldn't know where to improve. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at one of our campsites. Since your review, we've updated our canoe codes to make sure that all campers receive the correct information. We're so sorry for the inconvenience but we are glad that you were still able to enjoy your site!
Again, we apologize for the situation that occurred, but hope to see you out camping with us again soon!
Cheers!
The Tentrr Team
“Loved my stay here. It was beautiful and felt just as isolated as they said it would. The paddle out could be a bit difficult, but I lived my time here.”
“The canoe was a fun way to go, but be mindful of picking up your oars, life jackets, and waiver at the ranger station! That was our only real “gotcha”, the tents are awesome although prepare for the chill, but the sites are awesome and the experience was great!”
“I had high hopes for the site, unfortunately this one has been destroyed. We were offered a new site a week before our stay commencing. This gave us little time to find an alternative. The new site, G was a short walk from the car and looked good in the photos. However when we arrived I had to email and text to get directions as these weren’t updated form our previous site. The cleanliness level was very low with the toilet bucket containing stains. The zip on the tent was broken meaning we couldn’t close it. As a result loads of insects had made there way inside. We decided to leave and not stay. Not worth the price advertised, I would recommend finding alternative accommodation.”
