“Propane heater and grill were extremely helpful given burn bans. Just to be aware, there was a coyote den pretty close by, but it didn't cause us any issues. We kind of liked hearing them! I'd also highly recommend venturing out to the brewery or surrounding hikes. Gorgeous area! Otherwise, just make sure you get instructions from the host on how to access the campsite. It's a little difficult to find on your own.”
“We arrived later than expected and our gracious host made us feel welcome as he led us to our site. It was a beautiful view the following morning - we could not see a single soul from our spot! The tent was cozy with the heater and the gas fireplace was perfect. I most loved the silence, great company and the surrounding grounds. We were STUNNED to see the Space Station pass by and we heard the Sand Hill cranes migrate overhead while we were warm in bed. Cannot wait to return!”
“This was my first Tentrr experience and it was awesome! The camp hosts were great - communicative from when I first booked to when I left (but definitely respected my request for privacy and quiet time while I was there). Chris gave great recommendations for nearby hiking before I even arrived and Scott was very thorough with explaining the amenities and offering suggestions for where to go on the property itself. I definjtely plan on coming back!”
“Superb hospitality from the manager. The site is up in the hills away from everything with plenty of shade; a great base for a day of hiking, biking or just nothing at all. It's bear country but we didn't see or hear any. There are plenty of bees around, mostly hovering around water sources. We provided them a distraction a bit away from the deck and that helped. Not really an issue though. We will definitely be back!”
“As this was our second time using the app it did not disappoint. It was a beautiful landscape and our tent was surrounded by big beautiful trees which gave us shade during the day.
This place is ideal for hiking and riding your bikes but do not forget that Chris rents eBikes.
