Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“We had a fantastic 4-night stay at this beautiful site. We especially loved the easy access to the pond for swimming and the privacy that comes along with being nestled in the trees. The only slight negative is the fact that the trails on the property (including ones fairly close to the site) are used by motorcycles for recreation. Fortunately our quiet and solitude was disturbed only once by the dirt bikes circling in the vicinity.”
“We loved our time here. We would love to come back. The access to the pond to swim in was fantastic. Just a note to bring some toilet roll as this seems to be the only site that doesn't provide any. Other than that, this place is beautiful!”
“There are a lot of Pros to this campsite: it is close to a lot of amenities (wineries, distilleries, farms, restaurants, gas stations and a CVS to pick up necessities). There are also a bunch of cool hikes and outdoor activities to do that are close by. On the campsite, we saw a lot of wildlife and there were almost no mosquitoes in early July. A few Cons: we had limited contact with the host to answer questions before we arrived - called to confirm before we arrived and received no response, called when we arrived because we were unsure where to go and received no response. Finally, they called us after we found the site and then brought us loo bags (though only 3 loo bags for 2 people for 2 days apparently because they were on backorder). Pond is pretty and secluded, but kind of small for kayaking. We also had a skunk try to be our friend for about an hour and was undeterred by our attempts to get him to leave - I assume he knew there were food scraps/trash in the area. While the water carrier was filled when we arrived, the campfire was hot and it wasn't obvious that the host had cleaned/straightened up as there was some trash laying around. I think other Tentrr sites, especially during the pandemic, will clean and sterilize the site, so just a heads up if that is a concern for you!”
