Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“The set up was wonderful and the site was beautiful. Toilet worked well! One suggestion might be to build a permeable path with pallets or rock as there were so many stickers walking from the parking lot to the cabin. We had friends staying at another site who came to say hi and everyone was covered around their pant bottoms. Right around the tent it had been newly cut and so not a problem there. Thank you so much!”
“There was no defined path leading to our tent and the grounds weren’t maintained so our pants and shoes were full of stickers by them time we got to the tent. The Tent had trash in it and did not appear to be cleaned when we arrived. The mattress had dirt or mold on it. The temperature was in the low 50s and the propane tank/camp stove that was outlined in my email was not provided so I was freezing all night.”
“Enjoyed the space separate from the rest of the park. Lots of space and easy access to the river is nice. It would have been great if the weeds were mowed down though.”
“Beautiful site. Potty in the tent with space bags that absorb all the ick was super nice. Fire pit and furniture were great. Check in process a bit mucked up but was able to find the tent pretty easily. There is a $12 charge for out of state cars to even get in the park.”
“Awesome set up and beautiful space! The bed was actually SO comfortable and the tent was super well insulated. Will definitely use tentrr again. There are train tracks VERY close to the campground, and they use their horns throughout the night--just a heads up for those with kids or sensitive pets.
ALSO Google maps will tell you to go through private property (gravel road) DONT DO IT. It's very confusing, just keep going and it will reroute you.”
“The stay was great. Great view. Clean. Convenient. And Tom the host…he went above and beyond. He needs a 4 wheeler with all his hard work in the heat. Tom rocks”
“Located in a state park recreation area with river view. There are also small lakes/ponds for water activity. Communication around check in was great. Campsite was as described. However, there were a few wasp hives under the tent cover(not inside the tent) and under the table, which made it really hard for me to enjoy the beautiful setting outside. I hope those will be removed before the next person stays there. This is a wonderful place to stay if not for the wasps.”
