Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“Although very last minute and only one night there my kids enjoyed every moment of the campsite and state park. The tentrr tents were very comfortable and nicely set up. A few things to note- Bring your own fire wood and a ton of extra ice. Bring a large cooler to keep food in or keep in your vehicle at all times. Any and all items need to be put into a dry storage area after dark. Those pesky, and also extremely cute and friendly raccoons will steal anything left out.. including shoes, lol. Something to kill fire ants as well. All in all I give it 5 stars.”
“This place is awesome. We had a family camping experience that was so amazing. Their was restrooms access, showers with nice warm water, arcade area for kids to play and a POOL. The area was nice nature and s’mores FUN along with peace. Had a train pass by but sound was ok. I recommend it and can’t wait to come back”
“We had a great time. The campsite had lots of shade. We did have to drive to the showers and bathrooms, but we knew this ahead and brought a pop-up potty so it really wasn’t an issue. We prefer the privacy of being away from the large campers and motorhomes. We did hear the train once or twice, but never late at night and it never lasted more than a minute or two. Our camp keeper, Zack, was very helpful and did a great job of welcoming us. Even though we never needed him, I did feel I could call him anytime.”
“There was a train railroad close by and you could hear the train passing by all night. We went camping to be away from all the noise of city life for a while but it was not what we expected. There was no portable bathroom/shower at the site.”
Hey Nasrin,
Thank you for your feedback! It is with honest reviews such as yours that we can continue to improve our experience at the state parks and make sure campers have an awesome time. Since your review, we have updated the site description to reflect the passing of the train and the amenities that are provided at this site. We hope you give Tentrr another try in the future!
Cheers,
The Tentrr Team
“Great “glamping ” experience! Great little campsite tucked away from the rest of the RV sites, and awesome proximity to the beach. The bed is actually super comfortable as well. Made for a great and easy night of camping. You can definitely hear the train as it goes by but I actually think it’s soothing. And definitely bring bug spray!! Lots of mosquitoes. But overall great site with very easy communication from the hosts.”
“Great communication and help! I showed up later than expected and the guy in the phone took his time and stayed on the phone with me telling me the directions. Definitely recommend!”
“Good site! Especially for the 2 tents. We had the privacy in between the 2 tents which worked out really well. There is definitely enough space for the pop up tent, if you had more people. The Tentrr canvas tent is big enough to fit another queen air mattress. We didn't need the propane heater. The canvas tent and bed were quite comfy. Zach was very helpful and even got us some water! The only drawback was that we were far away from the bathrooms. It's a bit of a walk. But the bathrooms and showers are very clean. Oh! And the trains! There is a train track close by. 2am and 3am passing by. But otherwise very clean and felt very safe. Loved the convenience of not pitching the tent. And sleeping on a bed. And the fire put and chairs were awesome!! We will definitely be checking out the other Tentrr sites! Awesome experience!”
