“It's hard to imagine a more perfect place to camp than Joe and Lynne's property. With sixty acres and a private swimming pond, you have your own perfect piece of wilderness here. Joe and Lynne recommended some great places to eat and visit in the area (don't miss The Bull & Garland!). They really went all out with their tent and it's so tastefully decorated with blankets from L.L.Bean and Hudson Bay, a wonderful small selection of books, and tea, coffee, and various lamps and candles. Stay as long as you can!”
“What an amazing spot and incredibly gracious hosts! Spent a long weekend for the 4th of July at Joe and Pinky's hillside retreat- my husband and I, another couple and three big dogs. Everyone had a blast, including the dogs who got to play with Rosie, our hosts' sweet dog. Had drinks with the hosts at the pond then got settled in and enjoyed the most incredible views! Site had everything you'd need- Joe and Pinky thought of everything- spare lanterns, cooking supplies, books, binos, paper towels, soap, dishes, pots and pans, mugs, etc! All we really needed to bring was bed linens, pillows, and food! We definitely overpacked not knowing what to expect. Tent, kitchen area, and firepit were perfect. Even had a fire in the tent's stove one night. Joe brought us fresh strawberries one morning! Close to Margaretville, Phoenicia, and not terribly far from Woodstock. Would definitely visit again; this Tentrr site and these hosts were just perfect.”
