“Our hosts were wonderful, the site is truly beautiful and magical. Note that the mosquitoes on the trail can be brutal so put on repellant BEFORE you start on the trail.
I'd definitely stay here again.

“As a glass half full person, I will start with the positives. The site was in great shape with lots of features that made for a nice experience once at the site. The tent was very roomy (I was alone) and had lots of head room (I’m 5’11”). If the site was easily accessible it would have earned 5 stars.
Now for the downer side of the experience, this particular location is incredibly dangerous to access at night. No where on the listing does it mention a ten plus minute walk down a ‘nature trail’ to access the site. Arriving alone and after hours made for a very exhausting trek in pitch black. Also, the mosquitos were so bad that anything short of lighting myself on fire was going to keep them off of me during the trek to the site. For perspective, I am a well seasoned field scientist with multiple countries and 40+ states worth of outdoor experience. I can’t imagine what inexperienced campers think of the site.
At the very least, the ad for the site needs to be updated to warn folks of the distance from the parking area.”
