“Enjoyed a relaxing weekend however we previously stayed there exactly a year ago with no idea what to expect and it was great! We were a little disappointed because packed based on our experience last time. We were not aware that the tent no longer had a heater and the Gatorade jug was empty with no where near to go get water. I went back and noticed I received an email the day prior to the trip which stated in fine print there was no heating. Our trip was enjoyed for sure but wish we had known a few of these changes. I would recommend water jug being filled when arrive since a paddle out site.”

“We camped here one night and were disappointed. Will start by saying the site itself is exceptional, probably the best, most secluded and scenic site I’ve camped at in the New Orleans area. But we arrived to a broken fire pit and a tent full of bugs. The fire pit was rusted and broken completely, it was unusable. There were wasps and spiders in the tent. I understand some bugs may get into a tent, but there were a dozen wasps which is what was most concerning to us. When we reached out to Tentrr about this, they said “bugs are part of the experience.” Additionally, the memory foam mattress is more like a mattress topper. For the price, I expected much nicer accommodations. However, we did receive some reimbursement given the fire pit was broken.”

“Spent two days here for my boyfriend’s birthday and it was amazing!! Very scenic and out in nature. Canoeing to the tent was probably the most interesting part since you have to fight the current but other than that everything was perfect!
Note: beware of mosquitoes in the evening!! (tent has mosquito net and we brought bug spray/big mosquito candle)
Overall it was a very beautiful getaway!! Would 10/10 recommend!!”
