My family and I just spent the weekend camping at this location and I must say ! For our 1st time on this adventure this trip was everything and more we could’ve asked for. We weren’t so far from society but it felt Like it. The random turn off the highway makes you feel like your just taking a detour into the wilderness and everything was just perfect ❤️ We fell in love with camping and the outdoors ! The tentrr tent was so spacious, we weren’t cold in the tent at all with our blankets. The trail leading to the river was a nice little walk nothing too far at all! Beautiful views as well. We participated in canoeing/kayaking with Susquehanna outfitters ! It was Wonderful until next time tentrr ❤️

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Ferry Woods North. The weather was fantastic. This is a brand-new campsite cute out of a small wooded area close by the Susquehanna River. There is no river view. The access road is not graded or paved so an AWD vehicle recommended. The site has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The queen bed is comortable, the tent is spacious and Tentrr Loo is the best invention! It is important to know that the site is next door to Ferry Landing RV park. This is a huge park with a lot of activities. Since it was Labor Day weekend, they had a band on Saturday night, Church music and corn hole competitions. We could hear all the events and community announcement, including the 5:00 am rooster call, but we were not annoyed by any of it. The highway noise is pretty intense, so be sure to pack your ear plugs. We visited the Winery at Hunter's Valley which is just across the highway and up the hill. It offers okay wine and fantastic views. A great late afternoon hang out. We also went to Little Buffalo State Park which is a little gem. It has all levels of hiking trails, picnic areas and lake for fishing and kayaking (the pool was closed for the season). I highly recommend that you spend some time there and it is only about 20 minutes from the tent. Tiffany was very helpful throughout our weekend. She provided the above diversions and other ideas that made the weekend fun. She suggests getting water from the RV park but I think it is easier to bring your own water, wood, TP, citronella candles and bug spray.
