Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“I camped there with my two little girls. We had a great time. The hosts were very welcoming to my girls and allowed them to feed and pet the animals. They even got to hold some turkeys. They also enjoyed putting their feet in the water. You can ride kayaks or a canoe on the pond and swim and fish in it. Sunset on the Pond was a great camping experience for us.”
“We’ve now stayed at both sunset on the pond and sunrise on the pond. Both sites are amazing and we’re already planning a return trip. The sites are kept immaculate and stocked with wood and drinking water. Foam mattresses are much comfier than air mattresses found at other Tentrr sites. On this trip, we got to spend lots of time with Kevin’s mini donkeys who are just the sweetest animals. Petting them was quite therapeutic. Sitting on the Adirondack chairs watching the sunset over the pond was so relaxing and it got my body naturally ready for a peaceful night of sleep listening to the frogs and toads. This site is not to be missed!”
“It was amazing to arrive and have beautiful tents and a comfortable queen bed already set up! Malinda and Kevin are fantastic hosts and it was so lovely to be on a working farm with friendly animals. The views are stunning and we really enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the pond. Highly recommend this tranquil campsite.”
“We spent July 4th at Sunset on the Pond and had a great time! The tent overlooked the pond and we spent the weekend kayaking, canoeing, swimming, and fishing. They even provided poles and bait for us for the weekend. Kevin and Malinda were excellent hosts and brought us ice cream and cold bottles of water (it was over 90 each day) of our trip. I would highly recommend their site!”
“We had two wonderful nights. The location is just 15 minutes off I-95 and only minutes away from a local convenience store, but the farm feels wonderfully far from anywhere. To the west, where the sun set brilliantly, we looked out at the beautiful giant pond and were serenaded by all manner of pond creatures. In the other direction, you see in the distance the fields and structures of the old farm where hosts Melinda and Kevin, a Marine Corps vet now retired after 30 years, are building their version of The Biggest Little Farm. Melinda and Kevin made us feel very well taken care of and campsite was perfectly set up. Overall, it was a real treat for our suburban New York City area family.”
