None of us are really campers, and we enjoyed that this site was just a drive away from gas stations where we could pop in and grab more snacks and drinks! lol, but still felt secluded and like we were in nature to get away. Best of both worlds! Felt like it was camping for beginners!”
“The campsite was less than ideal. We would have been more comfortable in our own tent. We booked site D for a Friday and Saturday night and ended up leaving Saturday afternoon because Friday night was so uncomfortable. Our tent zipper was broken so there were many critters in our tent. It was also super loud at night. There seems to be some cabin near where you park to get to the sites that can be rented for social gatherings. There were cars going to/from at all hours of the night. We could also hear party music coming from the cabin until about 2am. On Saturday as the sun was setting we noticed the cabin still seemed to have a party going on and decided to leave due to noise.”
“The Tentrr camping experience was fun! The bed was surprisingly comfortable and we were grateful for the added carpet at the bottom of the tent. The sites were nicely spaced from each other situated on the water. Patrick was available by text and was super accommodating. We didn’t have any problems with the heaters but our friend’s tank ran out in the middle of a cold night. All in all it was a fun experience and would do it again.”
“Amenities are nice. Otherwise campers walk right through your site to get to the other sites. Fire pit is much too close to the tent to be safe. Patrick was a real help.”
“Such an awesome camping experience. I’ll be back next week lol. Only recommendation I would tell people is to bring a wagon. Have to walk a bit from the car to the campsite so wagon would be very helpful to have. My tentrr guide was amazing (Patrick) and again can’t speak highly enough if the experience.”
“Great fun..we loved our tent and location only reason I didn't give 5 stars as it has some things which folks need to be aware of before going ...ie you can't park close to tent so everything has to be walked over ..hopefully they will provide the lovely guide Patrick who meet us with a cart or better yet a 4 wheeler or something to make process quick and easy ..also folks need to know that the grill cooking facilities are a grate on firepit not a separate grill ..take Tp if you want to use tent potty ..thou there is reg very clean toilets etc close by ..we had a wonderful time ...heard owls saw wild boar and lots of lovely green lizards in tent to eat any bugs ..I highly recommend..especially for folks who want to dip their toes into the camping experience..”
