“Absolutely gorgeous camp site that included woods, pasture, and meadow. We were at the top of the ridge, just at the far end of the horse pasture (they came to visit, which our dog enjoyed!). Port-a-potty was a short walk away and we were supplied with clean water and plenty of fire wood. The beautiful view from the top of the ridge included the farmhouse, barn, and ponds. The ponds were a short walk down the hill and had kayaks and paddle boats we could use as well as some seating for relaxing on the dock. Host Susan was friendly and accommodating. There's ~8 other campsites on the property but we never saw any other campers during our stay even though we knew she had them booked - they were spaced far and very private. Truly the only downside was that the center of the campsite was underneath a bunch of wild cherry trees which pelted us with ripe berries! We found it hilarious but keep it in mind if you're camping here late August/Early September. I'm definitely planning on returning. We had a lovely stay.”
“Absolutely breathtaking experience. So peaceful and serene. We will be back to try all of Susan's sites, but I have a feeling that will be our favorite.”
“Can’t say enough about how wonderful our stay was. Susan provided us with ample water and fire wood and checked in periodically to ensure we still had enough. The location is excellent, close to a very clean porta-potty, shade from trees and also plenty of sun. Great views overlooking the farm and hillsides off in the distance. Horses came to visit in the evenings, but our favorite visitor was Stevie, Susan’s very sweet and loving dog.
We found the site convenient to local hiking and mountain biking spots. Found a good antique shop and general store nearby.
No doubt we will be back!”
“We fell in love- with the property, the view, and with Susan. Our kids were endlessly entertained by the horses, and Susan’s generous hospitality kept us comfortable. A perfect weekend.”
“We had an amazing time on Susan's property. Serenity Ridge was just that - secluded, quiet, calming and great views. Susan kept us well-stocked with water and dry wood, the porta-potty was immaculate, and everything was just as billed, but better. We enjoyed the occasional visits from their horses adjacent to our site, and from their big friendly newfoundland. We'll be back!”
“We loved our stay on Serenity Ridge. The view was beautiful, it was peaceful and our 2 year old got to pet and feed the horses.
The host, Susan, was incredibly welcoming and hospitable.”
