“We had an amazing weekend at black snout camp. All amenities were greater than expected. Fantastic hikes right out of the site. Brian the host was wonderfully helpful and friendly. 10/10 stay!”
“Visited Black Snout for the weekend. Had a good time, despite the rain. Accommodations were as dry as could be and the screened-in picnic area came in handy during the rainstorms. All in all, a good weekend in a good location with everything we needed on-site, with the exception of pay-as-you-go firewood bundles. Would have been good to know that in advance.”
“This is a lovely spot; Very pretty and quiet, a short walk from parking, near to a trail and waterfall (that you see from the top). Brian has gone above and beyond outfitting the site; grill with a side burner, bug netting around the picnic table, lots of cooking stuff, tidy outhouse. Our family of four highly recommends it!”
“My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this site. Tent was comfy and spacious, and on a platform which kept us dry from the rain storm. Site itself was lovely and secluded. If a 17yo is happy on a camping trip w/mom, that’s high praise!”
“We had an awesome stay & will definitely check out their other locations. The campsite had everything you needed! The best part was being totally secluded, our pup had a blast!!”
“Black Snout is a fantastic site - easily accessible via a short walk from the parking spot, very well equipped, comfortable, and the amenities make it super easy to enjoy a great camping experience while minimizing the amount of preparation, packing, etc. that usually goes into such adventures. This spot is very private, we loved feeling alone in the woods. Just don't forget to put your toothbrush away, or a Raccoon might take interest in it! :)”
“Very cool place at the end of McDuffee Rd. Go past where Google takes you and park just to the right of the iron gate, then it's a 2 min walk on a very nice trail to the tent site, which is stashed in a big Grove of tall trees for shade. Some amazing sleep with the sounds of the forest coming in, can't wait to come back again.”
