“Great view and star-gazing. amenities were minimal but no problem for us. my boys said "the best camp out ever !" we stayed late August, and it was very-cold at night (we didn't use wood stove which was already installed. we should have used it..), bring your extra blankets. Thanks a lot , campkeeper John for came check us and asked anything else we needed. The entrance to the campsite was a bit confused, because there was 2 different address in a confirmation email. you should use the address which has link if you put it on your GPS, not the address next to the map. Conclusion : I strongly recommend this site. very quiet, and privacy. mountain view is beautiful, starts are amazing at night. We would love to try other sites he has. Thanks, John !”
“John the CampKeeper couldn't have been nicer. The tent was great and the site was secluded....looking. I'd say it would be perfect for a small group looking for a base camp to explore the Roxbury area, but if you're looking for actual seclusion keep in mind this tent is surrounded by working farms. Like, directly behind the tent. Between the combines, chainsaws, dirt bikes, and atvs I'd say I hear less engine noise on a daily basis at my house by the Brooklyn Queens Expressway. Nights and very early mornings were peaceful though and you really can't beat the smell of a freshly mown hayfield. Looking forward to trying other sites!”
“Amazing campsite. It was breath taking living in a secluded area with such beautiful views. Finding the campsite was slightly challenging but manageable with multiple off road trial and error. Would definitely chose this campsite again. Bring a good camera for a photo shoot!”
