“Beautiful and secluded camp site. There was plenty of space for us to set up cornhole and ladder ball. You can hear the road from anywhere in the campsite but it was not a problem whatsoever. Traffic died out by 7pm.
You can see the road and the closest residence porch light from certain angles at the campsite but the tent is facing away from them and both were far enough away that we were able to play music loudly with no issues.
We did not venture down to the river as the path was overgrown and we would’ve had to push through quite a bit of vegetation to get to it. We were far enough away from the river that we only encountered a couple of mosquitos.
There were so many spiders! Bring a ton of bug spray! Obviously camping comes with the wildlife so make sure to come prepared with appropriate clothing if you’re going to be exploring the area. We did have a family of armadillos come across our campsite around 2am but they left as soon as they saw us by the fire.
10/10 would recommend this campsite especially for the price point and privacy.”
“all in all good camp site. the road noise really bugged my children and husband, I tried to explain we were in the city. very clean and comfy! bring lots of bug spray and put it on before you ever get out of your vehicle! also citronella candles we left one for the next guest!”
“Loved this! Will book again! Perfect little spot! They probably should have something more clear on the fence. We passed it twice before realizing where it was. Everything else was perfect. The road is a little noisy but not too bad.”
