“Our stay in the Indica Tent was AWESOME!!!
Hacienda Don Pedro is a small working farm run by an amazing group of people with a purpose. There is plenty on the property to explore and keep you entertained, including chickens, sheep, and goats. Our tent was located on a peaceful site in the orchard area, close enough to run into other campers occasionally but still quiet and very private. There are tons of places to visit and hike nearby as well.
David, Mia, and Robert are very attentive to their guests needs, and offer as much or as little guidance as needed. We ended up having a DELICIOUS group dinner (roasted local chicken and veggies and s'more's) with our hosts and other guests on our first night which was an unexpected treat. We also sampled eggs from their chickens - so good.
We brought our own bedding and some battery operated LED lights and candles which added light to the site and I would recommend. There is a grate for cooking over a campfire but no actual grill, so just be aware. We ended up using the heater in our tent on Low just to help keep things dry as it was a bit wet and rainy during our stay, and it was super warm - I'm sure if it's set on High you can sleep through a snowstorm!

“Excellent experience! David and his brother Robert are the best hosts. My friend and I visited the campsite last month. We booked all 2 Tentrr tents on their site. First of all, the tent is in very clean and good condition. The location they choose is perfect. It's walking distance from each other and where the host live, but you don't get to see each other directly. So you will still have the feeling of camping in the wild. Secondly, they provided all the help we we asked including extra beding and cooking tools. David even helped us do the barbecue. And their families shared their fresh-cooked delicious soup with us. The farm itself is beautiful and it's close to the Minnewaska State Park. I would defintely love to visit again.”
