“We were in Saratoga Springs for a graduation party and opted to find a glamping spot for the night. Originally planned on staying at “The Magic Glamping” site, but had to make a change because we accidentally booked the wrong night. In the end, the “Mellow Submarine” exceeded our expectations. The site is clean, private, and spacious. Plenty of comfortable sleeping space with two large tents and an additional small bed inside the camper. Kids and adults enjoyed relaxing on the lazy swings, tasting from the edible garden, and star gazing around the fire ring at night. But what truly sets this spot apart, are the owners/caretakers. Ray and Vicki were incredibly accommodating and kind hosts. Great communication prior to booking (and flexible with our error and need to find a new site) and so helpful upon arrival and throughout our stay….making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed (bug spray, extra blankets, coffee cups, fire wood). This is a hidden gem. We will definitely be back!”
“Our stay at the Mellow Submarine was perfect. It has a great view of field filled with wild flowers with big sky which gets filled with stars at night. It is beautiful and peaceful. Our children had a great time just running around and exploring the nature and even spent one entire morning collecting wild turkey feathers. Ray, Vicky and her kids are so welcoming and lovely. They make you feel right at home. We got Vicky's brekkie basket and it was delicious! Bonus point for families with kids - Vicky is wonderful with kids. She had a goody bag waiting for each of our children when we got there and even came and did an activity with them one afternoon while safely social distancing. We will be back!”
