“This place is amazing! We got hit with pretty bad storms and she immediately checked on us! Very friendly, everything was clean upon arrival and it was packed with a propane griddle, toiletries, chairs, kitchenware, snacks, water and more!!! 10/10, we can’t wait to come back! “We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Karis’s Tentrr. Situated near the top of a steep hill the site was well laid out with lovely views of the pasture and valley below. The tent was immaculate and comfortable.
The best part of our time was the time we spent with Karis, her kids, her friend and the animals. We hung out in the pasture and talked about the farm and it’s goals. On Saturday morning we hung out some more and helped to milk the cows!
It really was an amazing experience and Karis is just so charming and could not have cooler. She is incredibly hard working and passionate about the life that she is building for herself and her family on their 62 acres.
I can’t recommend a stay with Karis and her family enough. You’ll get to spend some time in a little slice of heaven, learn about regenerative farming, talk to really cool people, and maybe even milk a cow!”
“Our stay at The Old Road Farm was above and beyond expectations. Karis was the most attentive and thoughtful host. Upon arrival, she helped with my bags and made me feel right at home on her family owned farm. My friend arrived the next morning, and we had the best time thanks to our host. The amenities were much more than what was listed on Airbnb. They have a camping stove, plates, cups, silverware, pans, kettle, coffee, tea, olive oil, and even some spices provided! They even left us some farm fresh eggs and kept us well stocked with their spring water! They've really thought of everything here with all the little touches that go a long way. We enjoyed touring the farm, watching the milking process, and being able to pet the animals. The view was incredible, and the stars at night were breathtaking! We loved sitting around the firepit under the night's sky, and we were well stocked with firewood from the neighbor boys (be sure to bring cash!). Thank you so much for the hospitality!”
