This one is hard to write. Also, we were set for D, but had to move due to issues. We found out this tent was out of commission and recently fixed, and it showed. There was a bird’s nest on the floor next to the loo with eggs in it. No idea how this was not seen. No solar shower or privacy pop up. Grass overgrown and weeds/bamboo 2-4’ high. We tried clearing some, but it was a battle. Fire pit had plastic bottle and pressure treated wood inside (can’t burn that). Contacted our person and was given the option to move to another spot. She was very nice and apologetic. We moved to site E, but once again, no solar shower. Contacted host, but was told it may have been stolen. Pros in general: Beautiful area. Secluded. Quiet. Stunning! Being off the ground. Spacious. Table and benches. Good if you don’t want to bring a tent. Our fire pit at E was missing a leg, but I leveled it with a log. Nice fire pit with movable cook grate. Heater and propane tank (we did not use). Cons: Tent is not completely sealed as a regular tent would be. There is a carpet on the floor, but plenty of options for insects to come in the tent as it is the deck underneath. Suggest stretching it out and checking before settling jn. If not, you will get insects entering from the sides. Just not having what is promised in general. Having the solar shower was important, as we could still social distance and take showers. We had to use the comfort station, which was reduced to just one for the park due to North loop being closed, and another in the South loop being redone. Again, beautiful area. Cool tents. But, not having all items that were promised makes it difficult to fully praise.

Overall, a great experience & will definitely be checking out other Tentrr sites- definitely the only way to camp with a Great Dane! Since this is a new set up, there were some minor flukes but all were remedied immediately. Since the latest reviews said there was no heater, I tried to contact the Campkeeper to confirm the heater since it's December, but the confirmation email had the wrong email address & contact number- they quickly got in touch with the correct information though & confirmed the heating issue had been resolved. It POURED down rain one night which made me very happy to be glamping instead of camping! The bed was comfortable (not an air mattress), the fire pit with grill top was really convenient for cooking, and other amenities were as expected. The site does not have waterfront views though - in fact, only one site at Chicot does but the Tentrr map/ site numbers don't match up with the State Park's map/ site numbers, so I can't figure out which one it is. (Maybe E or B on Tentrr?) None of the sites are very secluded. Looking forward to checking out Fountainbleau's canoe-up sites next.

The tent, location of tent (secluded), park, and close to the restrooms were great. The heater barely worked and didn’t have enough propane which was our only complaint because it was a cold night. Tips for the future: moving the set up so the new table by the fire pit and make the hooks much easier to open. The stay was great and so flexible for check in and to leave.
