Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“The property was for a last minute friends giving for my friends and I who are in the military. Emily was great for communicating and getting us booked quickly. Overall a great weekend for camping!”
“We had a great time at this spot. The tent cabin was cozy and the redwoods and River were so beautiful. As the post mentions, it is right in the road but plenty of earplugs were provided. Luckily we were pre-warned that the heater wasn’t working so we brought slots of blankets and layers. The gate is quite heavy so be sure you are up for that. Overall, this spot fits are needs quite well and we had a great time.”
“The gate was broken when we arrived and we did not receive notice of this until less than 24 hours before arrival in the directions for checkin. It was too late to cancel, so we decided to take the risk. Unfortunately the gate was also very heavy and I hurt my wrist trying to open and close the gate to get our car in and out of the site. The road noise was also very disruptive all night. Access to the river was not convenient, and we could not use the inflatable kayak that we brought. Overall, the site has potential but the road noise and 2 night party across the street meant we did not enjoy our stay.”
Hey there Ann,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear that you had a less-than-ideal stay at Rustic Camping Along the Russian River. Although river levels can vary depending on recent weather, access to the river is still possible from the site. The host sends out a preparation email about the site and does include a note about the gate being manual so that guests can be prepared.
We hope you give Tentrr another chance in the future!
Cheers,
The Tentrr Team
“Great glamping experience in Russian River. The facilities are great and new / well-maintained. Emily has been a great host and sent us detailed instructions to make sure we are well prepared / appropriately packed for the trip. Emily made the whole check in / out process really hassle free. Overall, superb stay
The land is very private and leads directly to the river which is great, and our husky thoroughly enjoined the outdoors. We wished we have stayed for longer as it's a nice escape from the city / town but you still have cell signals and just a stone throw away from the cute town of Guerneville and other spots along the Russian River. The GPS location to the property is very accurate
One thing to note is that the land is next to the road which can get busy some times so you can hear the traffic. But ear buds are provided at the property in case you are sensitive to noise at night.”
“Being able to access the river was fantastic. the tent was very cozy. close proximity to korbel and town made it easy for a night out. Emily was very helpful and communicative :)”
“It’s nestled just below the road near the river. Very private but also walkable to a loverly general storm and breakfast place and a brewery. The water is inviting and the campsite has all you need. Unfortunately because of close it is to the road, there was a fair bit of road noise. A tractor trailer went by at 5 am dragging something. They do provide earplugs. I think if you want to camp with convince to other amenities this is a great choice.”
“Campsite and amenities are good..
Privacy is so-so. Main campsite area is viewable from street, because neighboring property has different (non privacy) fence.
Road noise is bad. Constant noise during the daytime.
Great river access - down a path and over a couple of pallets.
The kids (8 & 11) and dog were in and out of the river all day. They rate the place 5 stars.
I give it 3.
So, 4 stars.”
