“We had a great stay in Montville! Our hosts made sure we had extra firewood, and set the picnic table for us. Definitely a trip to remember. Can’t wait to go back!”
“A beautiful secluded site, rustic, with setup for cooking over a fire. Love the porch and Adirondack chairs. Be sure to bring toilet paper / wipes / hand gel. You'll need to bring your own cooler / ice. Water is carry in from a nearby building.”
“I should have brought my wheeled cart but other than that my stay at Brookside Haven was great! My dogs enjoyed swimming in the river. We watched the fireflies out the front of the tent. It rained my first night but we were high and dry.”
“Beautiful spot!! All of the amenities are in great shape and we really enjoyed our stay! Our car rides a little low so we had to walk in, but it was a very short walk.”
“The space was remote & relaxing. There is a walk into the site (.06m). No water is at the site but the host brought over an extra container for us & it was easy enough to get more. There wasn't a place to hang the solar shower. The host left us delicious Maine blueberries! Nice touch. We also purchased ground beef from the host & made delicious burgers at the site. Lovely weekend away!”
“We had a great time! The walk from parking to the campsite is less than 3 minutes. We didn't hear the dogs after 8pm. The view of the changing leaves from the tent is incredible.”
“Unfortunately in my stay I would of enjoyed my stay if the property owners dogs weren’t left outside all day long and all night long constantly barking at EVERYTHING!!! Which didn’t stop even threw the night.I have a toddler every little noise we made they just went crazy barking. We didn’t enjoy our first night stay and waking up to the dogs again barking constantly we packed up our stuff the next morning and decided to forfeit our second night stay and go back home a day early. Also the wood that was supplied was logs that were not cut they were 8 to 12 inch round logs not split”
