“Your day starts unzipping the tent and looking out at the perfect distant scenery, without even stepping off the platform. If you want to get a bit off the grid, and be pretty well isolated too, all while having open air and incredible views in all directions- this is the site. The tent itself is big and fully stocked. Queen mattress was firm and pretty comfortable. It did rain, which was a downer at first, but a t-storm rolled through and the view was incredible at night. You could see the lightning behind the clouds, and over the mountains in the distance. So cool to watch from that elevation. Huge full rainbow the next day, and a sky full of stars the next couple nights. A deer did a walk-thru on the edge of the campsite one evening. 2 firepits. Plenty of seating provided. Ithaca is 30 min away. Easily a 5/5 star stay, and you get to take with you a ton of memories, even if you just sit and stare.”

“Brian and his son have created a lovely space for a getaway. My partner and I traveled from separate locations to their windy hill and were both separately greeted by Brian's son. The site is tricky to find and google maps will take you to the wrong location. Brian's son was willing to wait by the road indefinitely (at a late hour, mind you) to make sure I found the spot.
We had a little miscommunication regarding heat source but otherwise, everything was superb. It's a very beautiful, private tent. Amazing 360 degree views of the changing leaves. Very windy at night and during the day but nothing that has not been accounted for in the tent structures.
Brian even left a treat for my dog & water which was beyond lovely as well as some local treats for us.”
“The host was more than accommodating and helpful. Great response time and adjusted to our travel changes. The place was very private and had everything we needed. The view was absolutely incredible. We had a really nice weekend. Highly recommend.”
“This was the first time we have utilized TENTRR and it was an awesome experience! The site was set up well and the host went beyond to make it a good stay. They provided plenty of firewood, had lanterns and a heater available in the tent, had a guide for local restaurants and spots to check out, and had some supplies (like paper towel, toilet paper, cups and bowls) available for use. We got in late, after dark, and the pathway up to the campsite from the road was well marked. It is on top of the hill so it was windy but also allows for a great view.
Just be cautious because our GPS took us to a house down the street. The site could have been marked a little better but we eventually realized there were open cattle gates and the address spray painted on the ground beneath them.”
